Lifewillow has not opened yet. This website describes the service we are preparing to launch in Nigeria.

Getting started

Is Lifewillow open?

Not yet. We are preparing to launch in Nigeria, and these answers describe the service as it will work when it opens.

What is Lifewillow?

A place for your health and everyday life. It brings together companions, daily check-ins and goals, and private voice sessions with therapists, doctors and mediators.

Do I need an account to look around?

No. You can browse services and professionals at lifewillow.app without an account. You sign in when you book or talk to your AI companion.

How do I sign in?

With your phone number and a one-time code sent by text message. There is no password to remember.

How much does a session cost?

The price of each service is shown before you book, and you pay when you book.

What if I need help urgently?

Lifewillow has not opened yet, so SOS is not available. In immediate danger? Call 112 (emergency services).

Do I need a camera?

No. Sessions are voice only. You need a microphone and an internet connection, and voice uses far less data than video.

Booking and payment

Can I choose my professional?

Yes, when you book a time. Each service lists its professionals and their open times. If you join the live queue, you are connected with the next available professional.

What happens while I wait?

You wait in the room and can check that your microphone is working. The screen shows your place in the queue, or when your professional is expected.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, at any point before the session starts. The held payment is then refunded.

How many bookings can I have?

You can have one active booking at a time.

How do I pay?

By card when you book. The payment is held until the session is completed, then released to the professional.

Sessions

Can I use Lifewillow on my phone?

Yes. Lifewillow works in your phone’s web browser at lifewillow.app.

Can I leave a session early?

Yes. You can mute yourself or leave at any point.

What happens after a session?

You are asked how you feel now, and you can book a follow-up session.

Companions

Is my AI companion a real person?

No. It is an AI, and it says so in its first message and whenever you ask. It can make mistakes.

Is a human companion a therapist?

No. Human companions are trained people who will listen, and the app will say this plainly. If you need a therapist, you can book one here.

Can I meet a human companion in person?

No. Human companions are by voice only. Lifewillow does not arrange or sell one-to-one meetings in person.

Will people know my real name?

With human companions and in small group chats, you will use only a nickname and an avatar.

Can my AI companion diagnose me or prescribe medicine?

No. It never diagnoses, prescribes or gives medication advice. For anything clinical, it encourages you to speak with a professional, and you can book one here.

Who can read what I write to my AI companion?

Only you. Your professionals and our staff tools cannot read your conversation. Messages are checked automatically for signs of serious risk, so that help can reach you.

Can I delete my messages?

Yes. You can delete your whole conversation at any time. Otherwise, messages are kept for up to 90 days, or for 24 hours if you turn memory off.

Daily habits and lifestyle

Who can see my check-ins?

Your daily check-ins are for you, and your therapist does not see them. If a note suggests you may be at risk, our crisis team is alerted.

Are the questionnaires a diagnosis?

No. They are screening questions that help you and your therapist see how things are going. They are scored by fixed rules, not by the AI.

How do I get an accountability partner?

We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.

When will food and outfit suggestions be ready?

They are coming soon. We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.

Group outings

Are outings available now?

Not yet. They are coming soon. Your AI companion, daily check-ins and sessions with professionals are available when Lifewillow opens.

Where will outings happen?

At public places, starting in Lagos.

Can Lifewillow arrange for me to meet someone one-to-one?

No. Lifewillow will not arrange or sell one-to-one meetings in person. Outings are for groups, at public places, with a host.

Will people know my real name?

Members will use first names only on outings, and no addresses will be shared.

Privacy

Who can see which service I use?

Nobody else can see which service you open, and a session includes only its participants.

Are sessions recorded?

We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.

How can I see or delete my data?

Write to the address on our contact page. See our privacy notice for your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

For professionals

Who can apply?

Therapists, doctors, mediators and accountability partners. Everyone except accountability partners needs a licence number.

What do I need to apply?

Your phone number, the service you offer, your full name, your professional title, your licence number if required, and a short biography.

How long does verification take?

We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.

How do I check my application?

Sign in with the same phone number. The page shows your application’s status and updates once it has been reviewed.

Can I fit sessions around other work?

Yes. You publish your own time slots, and you only receive live queue requests while you are online.

How am I paid?

Clients pay when they book, and the payment is released when you complete the session. We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.
